This is a "one of a kind" adventure.
Writings of the Mystical ages of D'ni are full of fictional adventures and are so discriptive that they put actual images in ones' mind as you are reading the books.
I first encountered these places online in Myst URULIVE, the online ever-changing and world-wide computer game.
I would encourage everyone to read and explore the wonderful book of MYST!

Love the book, hated the condition it came in
I'm really not sure whether this is the correct forum for this but I cannot find a place on Amazon where I can make a formal complaint. Any recommendations for where I can leave feedback?
I am a huge fan of the Myst series so I ordered a copy of The Myst Series. It arrived today but I was horrified at the condition that it came in [I ordered a brand new copy] - the box was far too large for the book, the back pages of the book had been flipped out and crushed and the back cover was slightly torn from the top. I can't be bothered to return the book but I am very disappointed at the condition in which my book arrived. Still going to read it though!

myst reader paper back
I am a myst gamer and reader, I got into the myst games on the 3D0 gaming system and have played since, I was an avid book reader before the books came out, and when I found out about them was exited, I have the book of tianna on hard bound and decided to expand what I had in my library, I found it too be a cheap and effective way to get all the books, though I dislike the order of them, i'm not a big fan of paper backs and wish this one was hard bound, I would have payed upword of 60.00 dollers for it in this way, even used. These books are the highlight of my collection, as the games are.
To anyone as a puzzler or reader I recommed it in both ways, even with some dissapointments you may have.

Ryan Miller along with a co author delve into the story of Atrus and his D'ni history. It's a must read for those who like to get into the whole Myst enviroment.
