This Is The Kind of Book That Hurts Our Troops

It's obvious that Michelle Malkin knows nothing about war. Nothing whatsoever. I am a Vietnam vet who is outraged by "In Defense of Internment." Malkin is way off the mark with this book, as she is in most of her other works. "In Defense of Internment" is dangerous reading, especially to those who know nothing about war. Malkin would have made a fine Hitler Youth, as she seems to buy into anything and everything her leaders (Bush and Cheney) say. If they tell her that internment camps are good, she promptly nods her head and writes a book about it. If they say waterboardering and other torture is fine, she agrees wholeheartedly. Only one problem , Michelle. It isn't good, it's terrible. Internment and torture are the worst thing we can possibly do. Thanks to what our government, under the Bush/Cheney administration, has done to prisoners, we can now expect our American soldiers to undergo the same torture, or worse, when they are captured. Too bad Malkin can't take their places, since she thinks it's all necessary to protect our country. In regards to internment camps, evidently Ms. Malkin does not have any ethnic neighbors. I do, and they are without a doubt the finest Americans I have ever known. Do I want to see them rounded up and placed in internment camps? Hell, no. But thanks to books like "In Defense of Internment," hatred and racism is growing in this country every day. I only hope Michelle Malkin does not call herself a Christian. It would only serve to disgrace that religion.

Michelle Malkin-threat profiling versus racial profiling

This book discusses the Japanese espionage threat on the West coast (including Hawaii). One important topic that is not usually taught in schools is the top secret encrypted messages (MAGIC)from Japan to spies. Serious threats from named "loyalist to the Emperor" are included in detail.

Michelle Malkin does an excellent job of gathering facts and displaying a list of her sources as proof of her thesis throughout the book.
The final sections of the book contain documents proving that Japan and Germany had contact regarding unguarded ports and towns in the U.S. west coast. Also, military activities, including the names, sizes, and schedules of ships were intercepted from the encrypted messages (MAGIC).

Mrs. Malkin explains the difference between actual racial profiling versus threat profiling for national security in great detail.

Accurate, intellegent, and original, Michelle Malkin is a true patriot.

Wonder how Ms. Malkin feels about White Internment?

I wonder if Ms. Malkin, who is of Asian heritage and is supposedly a proud American, would propose to her Fox News compatriots (O'Reilly, Hannity and Rush) the patriotic duty they must obey when it calls: the interment of all Caucasian (white) people in the U.S. (As an aside, how did she get her foot in the door at Fox without first dying her hair blonde like all the other "gals" there do?).

She would see they (we) are the most dangerous group of terrorists we have within our borders! Lock us all up!! The cause will be (understandably) unpopular at first, but her media connections at Fox News can lead the way to show fellow Americans the wisdom of White Internment when they appreciate that most terrorism has been commited by the white race in our beloved country. The Fox News team will not like it at first --and as much as many love and respect their astute observations-- but they will eventually agree to its wisdom and will voluntarily intern themselves, as the true red-blooded American I believe them to all to be. Ms. Malkin must truly believe White Internment will keep AMERICA SAFE, since her book purports that a race of people must be interned into prison camps (like the Japanese Americans were in World War II) if there is ANY among them who may cause the average American danger instead of security!!!

(Hopefully, you will see the irony in this review of this ridiculously callous book of revisionist history).

Don't spend money on this book

A friend loan this book for me to read, as I refused to pay money for anything written by Ms. Malkin.
I skimmed through some pages and got mad at myself for even doing that.
Ms. Malkin will write anything to sell a book and make money.unless she lived through the era of Japanese internment and was born in an internment camp, or lived in Hawaii or CA at that time, or even served in WWII, then she should not write a book in defense of internment.
